The petition against LGBT propaganda on the E-Petition.kz portal has collected 50,000 signatures. This was announced by the Ministry of Culture and Information, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
50,000 signatures were collected on the petition published on the site "We are against open and covert LGBT propaganda in the Republic of Kazakhstan". Now this request will be considered by the government.
"The Ministry of Culture and Information has accepted the application. The application will be reviewed within 40 working days from the date of registration. The Ministry will organize the activities of the working group, which includes representatives of interested parties, state bodies and public associations," the press service of the Ministry of Culture reported.
They noted that the process of considering the application will be carried out in accordance with the requirements of the law.
It should be noted that earlier the Deputies proposed banning journalists from writing about LGBT.
