In Kazakhstan, illegal buildings near the airport are demolished en masse. According to the Ministry of Transport, these measures ensure the safe take-off and landing of aircraft, reports the national portal "Adyrna".
According to the KTK TV channel, the Ministry has started to determine the number of buildings built too close to the airport. The members of the commission, who discussed the rules in detail, have not yet decided how much compensation will be given to the owners of the object subject to demolition. Also, the new changes envisage the complete absence of high-rise buildings and farmland in the airport area.
"Agricultural farms and poultry factories should not be located near the airport. That is, nothing should interfere with the operation of the object. As it is considered a sanitary protection zone, construction of land is not allowed in this area. Residues released into the air from repeated flights of airplanes can have a negative impact on the health of people living near the airport," said Mukhtarbek Turlybekov, inspector of the aerodromes department of "Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan" JSC.
