That night, 6 yards and a warehouse were flooded. The houses are located near the bridge at the entrance to the city. Because the plumbing was upstairs, the water flowed down when the pipe burst.
According to "Zakon.kz", residents of the affected areas rushed to save their drowned dogs around 4:00 in the morning. They say you can't go outside without rubber boots. The pickles and potatoes stored in the cellars are also submerged and blocked
This is the third accident in the city's water pipeline since November. All of the piping is relatively new. For example, the pipeline at the site of the failure was replaced in 2009, which is considered a very short time.
Earlier, on December 1, a water pipe burst in Kyzylzhar. As a result, the streets were flooded and hundreds of residents were left without water. Residents of 15 apartment buildings and social facilities were damaged. Due to this, it was necessary to reduce the pressure in the pipelines located throughout the city.
On November 6, the water pipe was broken again due to heavy snowfall. As a result, water in 14 houses was temporarily turned off and water pressure was reduced.
