"Murat Zhurebekov was appointed adviser to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan," reported the national portal "Adyrna".
The new adviser to the Prime Minister was born in 1978 in Aktobe region. Apart from Kazakhstan, Murat Zhurebekov was educated at higher educational institutions in Scotland and the USA.
During his career, he held responsible positions in "KazTransGas" JSC, "Intergas Central Asia" JSC, "Ajip KKO" in London, "KazMunayGas" NC" JSC and "PSA" LLP.
From July to December 2019, he was the Vice Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and then the First Vice Minister of Energy.
From January to June 2023, he served as the mayor of Aktobe.
