The mayor of the district affected by the forest fire in Abay region has changed, - "Adyrna" correspondent reported referring to the press service of the regional akim.
Aidar Ibrayev was appointed akim of Borodulikha district by the decree of Abay region mayor Nurlan Urankhayev. The meeting of the head of the region with the representatives of the district began with a minute of silence. Nurlan Urankhaev introduced the new mayor and ordered to use all opportunities to ensure economic growth of the region and improve socio-economic indicators.
Aidar Ibraev was born on May 27, 1979 in Akshi village, Kurchim district, East Kazakhstan region. He graduated from East Kazakhstan State University. He has work experience in government agencies and in the field of culture.
Since 2004, he has held various positions in the office of the akim of the East Kazakhstan region. He served as deputy mayor of Ulan district, head of mayor's office, deputy akim of Zharma district. Since October 2022, Abay has been the head of the district department of culture, language development and archive affairs.
