Today, the third stage of the "Shymkent Youth League" project, which has been traditionally organized for three years in a row, has come to an end. The finals were held at the revived and reconstructed Metallurg stadium. This stadium, which has witnessed many years of history of Shymkent, has all the necessary conditions for young people to play sports without any worries.
In the "Shymkent Youth League" project, more than 500 football, basketball, volleyball, chess teams from 151 general secondary schools were formed, and about 6,000 students participated. The mayor of the city Murat Aitenov took part in the final stage of the project and emphasized the importance of the project.
"Three years ago, we were the first in the republic to launch a unique project called the "Shymkent Youth League". This project has been successfully implemented and has received great support from schoolchildren, teachers and parents. This competition, which is organized traditionally, increases the interest of our youth in mass sports.
