Toys for children were monitored in the East Kazakhstan region and dangerous substances were found in them, the national portal "Adyrna" reports.
According to Arnapress.kz, the Department of Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance took more than 3,000 samples. These include food and consumer goods. During the inspection, importers and producers were fined in the amount of 2,377,355 tenge. Dangerous products weighing 166.2 kg were confiscated.
There were a lot of non-compliant goods. Manufacturers often do not provide detailed information about the product (shelf life, name and address of the manufacturer, date of manufacture, shelf life, weight, energy value, information in the state language, common label of the EAEU countries and Mobius).
Toxic substances were found in children's toys.
