In Kazakhstan, sunflower oil has risen in price by 56% over the year, according to the national portal "Adyrna" with reference to Zakon.kz.
According to researchers, in January-September 2021, the country produced 131 thousand tons of unrefined sunflower oil. This is 1.4% less than last year. At the same time, the production of refined oil increased by 29.7% to 109.8 thousand tons.
East Kazakhstan (98 thousand tons), Kostanay (10.5 thousand tons) and Aktobe (8.3 thousand tons) regions are the leaders in the production of unrefined sunflower oil in the region, Energyprom.kz reports.
