President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev attended an evening dedicated to the works of Shomishbai Sariev, a prominent figure in Kazakh culture, a renowned poet, and laureate of the Franz Kafka International Golden Medal Award, according to the Adyrna national portal.
During the concert, Kazakh pop stars performed songs based on the poet’s beloved works, accompanied by a pop-symphony orchestra. These included “Ainaldym Senen, Atameken-ai”, “Salem Sagan, Tugan El”, “Ayaulym”, “Dombyra Turaly Ballada”, “Okinbe Sen”, “Omir-Ozen”, “Sagyndym Sagym Jyldar”, “Dos Kerek”, “Saryarka”, and many others cherished by the public.
