A terrorist attack occurred at the TUSAŞ aerospace company in Turkey’s capital, Ankara. As a result, four people were killed, and another 14 were injured, according to Turkey’s Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya, as reported by the “Adyrna” national portal.

The minister stated that the two attackers responsible for the assault have been neutralized. One of the attackers was reported to be a woman.

Yerlikaya urged the public to rely only on official information sources regarding the incident. Among the 14 injured, three are in critical condition, the minister reported.

“The identification of the attackers is ongoing. Once we know their names, we will inform you about which terrorist organization they belong to,” the minister stated.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan commented that the terrorist attack on TUSAŞ in Ankara aims to undermine Turkey’s stability and achievements in the defense industry.

“Dirty hands targeting Turkey will be thwarted. No structure, terrorist organization, or center of evil directed against our security will achieve its goal,” Erdoğan wrote on social media platform X.

Erdoğan assured that Turkey will continue its determined, resolute, and comprehensive fight against all forms of threats posed by terrorists and their accomplices. He offered prayers for the peace of the souls of the deceased and expressed support for the employees of TUSAŞ, which he described as a locomotive and pride of Turkey’s defense industry.

Turkey’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan also wrote on social media that, “We will resolutely continue the fight against all terrorist elements and the forces that harbor them both domestically and abroad.”

Fidan noted that Turkey would work to strengthen its internal defense capabilities. Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç announced that the Ankara Chief Prosecutor’s Office has launched an investigation into the terrorist attack.
