The National Security Committee conducted a large-scale operation against organized criminal groups in three major cities and six regions of Kazakhstan. As a result, 50 people were detained, reports the correspondent of "Adyrna".
"On September 18, the interdepartmental investigative team of the National Security Service, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the BP conducted an operation to arrest members of a permanent organized criminal group in the cities of Astana, Almaty and Shymkent, as well as in Aktobe, Atyrau, Almaty, Zhetysu, West Kazakhstan and Pavlodar regions. A total of 50 people were arrested and taken to internal affairs bodies. Investigative measures are being carried out," the report said.
