At the briefing held in the city of Konayev, the governor of the Almaty Region, Marat Sultangaziev, raised the issue of the return of the school building on Abay Street in the village of Shalkar, Karasai District, to state ownership.
- In January 2018, the building of the Lomonosov school with a separate plot of land was transferred to LLP "Karasai Residential House", which in turn sold it to an individual, - stressed Marat Eleusizovich. - In the future, the building was resold, was not used for its intended purpose and was actually empty. Today, the owner himself is returning the building without water.
In March 2023, the education department of the Karasai district filed a claim in the specialized interdistrict administrative court of the Almaty region for the return to the ownership of the state of the vacant old building of the Shalkar secondary school. Several times the court returned the documents, and only in June the owner decided to hand over the building with a total area of one and a half thousand square meters and a plot of 0.75 ha. The agreement on free transfer is currently being considered in the district justice department.
