The first Central Asian Media Forum will be held in Astana

On December 20-21, the first Central Asian Media Forum will be held in Astana. Becoming a unique platform for collaboration, the forum intends to create a single media space for the countries of Central Asia,  the national portal "Adyrna" reports.

During two days, recognized experts will discuss current issues of media development and share their observations and best practices in this area. For the first time in the region, issues of measuring regional identity, development of new media, artificial intelligence technology in industry, the future of creative industries in Central Asia, opportunities for regional and global cooperation to ensure information security, fake news in the post-truth era, issues of media literacy, will be discussed. and the role of women in the media.

More than 100 invited speakers will take part in the event. These are laureates of the world-famous Pulitzer Prize, world politicians, international and local journalists, influencers, heads of international organizations and authoritative media experts.

On the topic of "peace" and its role in the world, the founder of the global project Peace One Day Jeremy Gilly, who stopped the war in Afghanistan for 1 day, and approved the Day of Peace at the UN General Assembly together with the famous Kazakh performer Dimash Kudaibergen, will speak.

The headliners of the Forum are Hollywood actor and legendary boxer Roy Jones, four-time New York Times bestseller author, Liz Welsh, the author of the book of the same name about the Cossack Burkitt "Eagle Huntress" and the most popular YouTube project in the world with more than 18 billion views dBillions.

The 11th President of Turkey Abdullah Gül, the 3rd President of Mongolia Nambaryn Enkhbayar, the State Secretary of the Kyrgyz Republic Suyunbek Kasmambetov, the heads of leading international organizations (OTG, OIS, SVMDA, Turksoi, TurkPA, UN, etc.) will share their experience at the Forum and the mass media of the Central Asian region.
