A box of drugs came to a woman who ordered shoes in Abay region. Polisia.kz wrote about it, the correspondent of "Adyrna" reported.
"On December 2, emergency channel "102" of the Urzhar police department received a message from a 59-year-old woman. He said that he ordered a pair of shoes on November 30, but when he received the order that day, the shoes were replaced by a green substance with a peculiar vegetable smell. Later, the owner of the box contacted the woman and said that the courier had mixed up the parcels. The woman agreed to exchange the boxes with him, and the law enforcement officers started the operation to arrest the owner of the unknown object. "In the course of conducting urgent search activities, police officers detained a 34-year-old unemployed man in the center of the district," the report said.
During the search of the suspect's house, 4 similar boxes wrapped with scotch tape of plant origin and with a peculiar smell were found and confiscated. According to the analysis, it was found that the substance submitted for investigation was dried marijuana weighing more than 72 kilograms.
Currently, urgent search activities are being conducted to identify the accomplices involved in this crime. Based on this fact, a pre-trial investigation was started under Part 1 of Article 297 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The suspect was placed in a detention center.
