President Kasym-Jomart Tokayev received Patrick Mpoyi Luabeya, the Special Envoy of the President of the Democratic Republic of Congo. This was reported by Akorda’s press service on August 25, according to Adyrna.
Kasym-Jomart Tokayev expressed his respect to Patrick Mpoyi Luabeya and noted that his visit is regarded as an important step in strengthening cooperation between Kazakhstan and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Patrick Mpoyi Luabeya thanked Tokayev for the opportunity to meet and conveyed special greetings from President Félix Tshisekedi of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
During the meeting, the parties discussed preparations for the upcoming visit of President Félix Tshisekedi to Kazakhstan, as well as promising areas of bilateral cooperation.
