International grandmaster and Kazakhstan chess champion Zhansaya Abdumalik has given birth to her first child, reports Adyrna national portal.
The athlete shared the news on her Instagram page along with a heartfelt message:
“Even when you were breathing beneath my heart, before I had even seen you, I had already grown to love you,” the chess player wrote.
Zhansaya’s husband, Nurakhmet Nuriev, has been chairman of the board of directors of Kazakhmys Corporation LLP since 2024. The young couple married in 2023.
