This year, the majority of students entering the first grade — 70% — have chosen to study in Kazakh, the Ministry of Education reported, Adyrna informs.
“As of today, 312,000 children have been admitted to schools across the country. Of these, 70% have chosen to study in the state language,” the statement said.
It should be noted that the acceptance of applications for first grade began on April 1, and enrollment is still ongoing.
