Arman Zhumageldiyev's lawyers say he was released from a pre-trial detention center in Almaty. The whereabouts of Arman Zhumageldiyev are unknown, the national portal Adyrna reports citing Orda.kz.
According to human rights activist Talgat Yessimov, on the night of February 1-2, he was taken out of the pre-trial detention center. The defense appealed to the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev for help.
- We visited Arman Zhumageldiyev twice. During the interrogation, he said that he was ready to cooperate with the investigation, - said Talgat Yessimov live on Facebook.
It is unknown where Arman Zhumageldiyev is now. According to some human rights activists, the suspect may be taken to the KNB building.
- The members of the investigation team found out that Zhumageldiyev was ready to testify. He said he would testify to prove his innocence. The Prosecutor General,what a nonsense - said the lawyer Victor Krivonosov.
