President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a meeting with Minister of Energy Almasadam Satkaliyev, the Akorda press service reported on December 23, according to “Adyrna.”
The President was briefed on the key outcomes of the ministry’s work, plans for the development of the country’s fuel and energy complex, and the implementation of major projects in the oil, gas, and energy sectors. Updates on the heating season and the operation of major heat and power facilities were also presented.
“The Head of State emphasized the importance of keeping the heating season under strict control and instructed to implement projects related to the modernization of energy infrastructure. Additionally, he underlined the necessity of accelerating the construction of the nuclear power plant in Kazakhstan,” the statement said.
