Large-scale events were organized in the Ulytau region as part of the national environmental campaign "Clean Kazakhstan". On this day, cleaning actions were held in all cities and districts of the region. This was announced by the administration of Ulytau region, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
The main goal of the large-scale action is to draw attention to the need of residents to take care of the environment, in addition to cleaning the territories. All the participants in cleaning activities showed high activity. "Green El" labor forces were also distinguished by their activity on this day. Among the participants of environmental events are local authorities, public organizations, students, activists and ordinary citizens. More than 2000 people from 245 teams and 68 special equipment were mobilized for the campaign. In total, more than 70 tons of garbage were removed.
