A pilot project to detect symptoms of depression on social networks will be launched. This was announced at the regular meeting of the National Commission on Women's Affairs and Family-Demographic Policy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, writes the national portal "Adyrna".
One of the main issues on the agenda was measures to prevent suicide among minors.
Aida Balayeva, chairperson of the National Commission, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration, who opened the meeting, noted that suicide among children and adolescents is one of the most urgent social problems of our society today. This, in turn, requires the search for new ways of forming a complex of preventive measures, as well as the identification and resolution of problem areas in the activities of the authorized bodies aimed at preventing child suicide.
