After the January events in Almaty and the beginning of the war in Ukraine, the topic of national values and interests became very relevant. Of course, this topic has always been on the agenda in the years of independence, but in some unsaid and truncated version. Suffice it to say that for many years there were discussions about whether to be a Kazakh or a Kazakh nation.
Crisis of statehood in Kazakhstan: no ideals
What kind of transformation are national values going through taking into account modern realities? Has a state ideology been formed on the basis of these values? Is there a national idea that united the people of Kazakhstan?
″ Many of the current troubles that have befallen our country in recent years in the form of the January events, unprecedented corruption, theft, extremism, terrorism, the growth of crime, prostitution, suicide, social conflicts, etc., to a large extent appeared on the wave of moral, spiritual, personal degradation.
The flight of numerous high-ranking officials, bankers with huge amounts of money, property abroad, "general offshorization" were the result of many reasons of an economic, social, criminal, ideological nature.
No wonder our country has experienced a crisis of statehood due to the lack of ideals, ideology and patriotism: it is very difficult for corrupt officials to talk about honesty, morality, love for the motherland, their thoughts are occupied with their enrichment and career, and not with the high values and interests of the country.
