At the end of September, Bekmyrza Igenberdinov was dismissed from the post of general director of "Almatyelectrotrans" LLP and detained for two months. According to information on social networks, Igenberdinov was caught by "Antikor" employees in Almaty while accepting a bribe of 160,000 dollars. In the Department of Anti-corruption (Anti-corruption Service) in Almaty city, editorial correspondent confirmed the fact of bribery by Igenberdinov and told why he took it.
A pre-trial investigation is being conducted against the head of "Almatyelectrotrans" LLP in connection with the fact of receiving a bribe of 160,000 US dollars for signing acts of anti-corruption activities in Almaty city and making payments for them, - said in the answer to the official question.
Almaty "Antikory" clarified that on September 28, Bekmyrza Igenberdinov was arrested and imprisoned in the temporary detention center of the Almaty City Police Department.
