As a result of monitoring of public procurement in Turkestan region, 103 millions tenge were saved. This was announced at a press conference in the anti-corruption department of the region, Adyrna reported.
At the briefing, the First Deputy Head of the Department Nurdaulet Samet noted the institutions that intend to spend public funds inefficiently by analyzing the information of the web portal "Single Procurement Window".
According to him, the department of internal policy of Sauran district plans to purchase 5 printers for 44,642,855 tenge.
"That is, the cost of one printer was 8,928,571 tenge. The Turkestan oblast akimat plans to buy 150 toilet cleaners for 7,657,950 tenge. In addition, the Ordabasy District Inspectorate for Housing, Utilities, Motor Roads and Passenger Transport Temirlan Blagoustroystvo intends to spend 17,857,140 tenge for the construction of one bus stop. Also, the Republican State Enterprise on the right of economic management "Reserve" of the Committee for State Material Reserves of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan estimated 493 tons of spring diesel fuel at 276 tenge per liter (230 tenge per liter of spring diesel fuel). It is planned to purchase diesel fuel for a total of 25,470,395 tenge, ”Nurdaulet Samet said.
The overestimated price was later reconsidered after letters of recommendation from the department.
It's worth noting that 522,039,999 tenge was saved last year as a result of monitoring the public procurement system in the region.
