Arman Zhumageldiyev, nicknamed "Wild Arman", has been remanded in custody until June 7. This was reported by the Prosecutor General's Office, the national portal "Adyrna" reported with reference to Tengrinews.kz.
"On April 4, the Almaty Specialized Interdistrict Investigation Court extended Arman Zhumageldiyev's pre-trial detention until June 7, 2022," Zharylkasyn said.
According to the Prosecutor General's Office, Zhumageldiyev was detained on suspicion of the following charges:
- Article 287, part 4 of the Criminal Code "Illegal possession, transfer, sale, storage, transportation or carrying of weapons, ammunition, explosives and explosive devices by a group of persons with prior conspiracy or repeatedly";
- Article 272, part 2 of the Criminal Code "Using force, destruction, arson, destruction, destruction of property, use of firearms, explosives or explosive devices, as well as armed resistance to the authorities, including with the use of funds from foreign sources participation in mass riots ";
- Article 126, part 3, subparagraph 3 of the Criminal Code "Illegal deprivation of liberty and negligence resulting in the death of the victim or other serious consequences."
