In Russia, the assets of the Kazakh "Novozhambyl Phosphorus Plant" (NDZF) LLP, which is related to the sons of ex-speaker of Mazhilis Nurlan Nigmatulin, were confiscated. The Russian publication "Kommersant" wrote about it, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
"The arbitration court of the Kemerovo region satisfied the requests of the Novokuznetsk mining company limited liability company and seized from the Republic of Kazakhstan "Novdzhambul Phosphorus Plant" LLP (NZF) "Halyk Bank" JSC and Moskommertsbank OC in Moscow. The seized amount was 196.33 million rubles and 513.23 million rubles," the publication reports.
According to the court documents, preliminary hearings on these claims were scheduled for April 22 and May 29.
"The production is being carried out due to the loan granted by the Kazakh partner under the contracts with the mining company. Its website says it "supplies coal coke". "NDZF" LLP separates phosphates and processes fertilizers and other products," the publication clarifies.
