On the thirteenth of July, with the support of the Youth Policy Department of Almaty, within the framework of the project "Prevention of internet addiction and gambling among young people", a public hearing was held with the members of the public council of Almaty, representatives of the intelligentsia and the participation of young people.
In particular, the head of the department for support of youth initiatives and work with non-governmental organizations Bekkayirov Nursultan Bolatuly, Almaty city, members of the Public Council Kuanbaev Nurlybek, Talgat Zhanysbai, historian-archaeologist Zhanbolat Askaruly, psychologist Akmaral Davletova of the Zhan-uya support center, Kazakh language and literature Subject teacher Sailaubai Aruzhan actively participated. And during the event, a discussion was held among 14-year-old teenagers on the topic of "benefits and harms of the Internet".
At the end of the public hearing, various proposals related to the project were presented and opinions were shared.
