Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development Kairbek Uskenbayev said that under the new car loan program 15 million cars would be available, the national portal Adyrna reported citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
At a briefing in the Central Communications Service, journalists asked about the maximum amount of the concessional car loan program.
"For example, I did not like a car worth 10 millions tenge. In that case, will it be possible to get 15 millions tenge? I will pay 10 millions tenge on credit, and the remaining 5 millions I will pay?"
The Minister said that even if the maximum amount of the soft car loan is 10 million, it is possible to get an expensive car.
"You can pay 5 million or another sum, that's all," Uskenbayev said. According to Deputy Minister Marat Karabayev, if you do not have the necessary transport after applying for a loan, you will have to wait.
"During the pandemic, the number of people in the queue increased, because we had to wait for 6-8 months. Now this period is significantly reduced to 3-5 months. Then there is the model, equipment and color of the car. If you choose one model, you have to wait." , - says Karabayev.
