New mortgage programs will be introduced in Kazakhstan, as announced by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov during a government meeting, reports the national portal “Adyrna.”
“I instruct the Ministries of Industry, Energy, Transport, Agriculture, and Water Resources to work together with enterprises, local administrations, and Otbasy Bank to develop and launch preferential mortgage and rental housing programs for workers,” said the Prime Minister.
Olzhas Bektenov also emphasized the need for thousands of skilled workers in Kazakhstan.
“New professions are emerging every year. Therefore, all regional administrations need to develop a regional atlas of professions to forecast future skills and competencies. So far, such a document exists only in nine regions. To encourage young people to consciously choose working professions, new approaches in career guidance must be implemented,” noted the Prime Minister.
