"International experience has proven that road infrastructure has a direct impact on accidents. Currently, only 3% of republican roads meet safety requirements. "After repairing such roads, the loss of life has decreased several times," he said today.
The minister also touched on the difficult condition of the roads outside the city. According to them, their current situation leads to serious accidents. Since the beginning of the year, more than 24,000 orders have been issued to improve road safety. However, the number of accidents is not decreasing.
In addition, Yerzhan Sadenov noted that it is urgently necessary to build more than 6 thousand kilometers of roads with 4 or more lanes.
