An explosion occurred in the fuel supply gallery in boiler area No. 6 of the thermal power plant in Reeder. This was stated by the press service of the Ministry of Energy, "Adyrna" correspondent reported.
The blast wave destroyed about 80 square meters of fence structures.
"The leadership of the Atomic and Energy Supervision and Control Committee immediately left for this place. According to the order, the commission will investigate the technological violation. The commission included representatives of the Committee, Ridder CHP and a technical expert. The results of the investigation will be ready within 10 working days," says the board.
Currently, 2 out of 6 boilers are working at CHP. The remaining 4 boilers are being repaired.
