In Pavlodar region, embezzlement of funds was revealed during the construction of external networks and improvement of the residential complex, the national portal "Adyrna" reports with reference to the Financial Monitoring Agency.
According to the Financial Monitoring Agency, employees of the territorial department of Pavlodar region revealed embezzlement of funds during the construction and improvement of external networks in the residential complex "Saryarka" in Pavlodar, as well as during the construction of a sports complex in Leninsk.
"In order to embezzle budget funds, A. Akhmetov took AsiaSpetsStroy LLP, Man-Kozha LLP and Reper-SK LLP in 2016-2017, registered them in the name of other persons, and then participated in public procurement on behalf of these enterprises. Akhmetov "By preliminary agreement, Bekeev, Kultumanov, Saginayev and Gabbasov signed an act of non-performance of work on public procurement contracts, thus causing damage to the state in the amount of more than 59 million tenge," the statement was informed.
According to the press service, Akhmetov was sentenced to eight years, Bekeev to three years, Kultumanov, Saginayev and Gabbasov to two to three years in prison.
