Kazakh producer, TV presenter and actor Nurlan Koyanbayev has been appointed as a freelance adviser to the Turkestan region governor, the correspondent of "Adyrna" reports.

"By the order of Turkestan Region Mayor Darkhan Satybaldi, Nurlan Koyanbayev was appointed as an independent consultant of the Turkestan Region Mayor in the direction of creative industry development," the report says.

Nurlan Koyanbayev was born on July 19, 1979 in Kyzylorda region. In 1996-2000, he studied at the Faculty of History of KazNU named after Al-Farabi. In 2009-2011, he studied at the Faculty of Finance and Credit at the Academy of Economics and Law. In 2012-2015, he graduated with a master's degree in international relations at Al-Farabi KazNU.

Before that, he served as the creative director of the President Television and Radio Complex, the chief producer of the national TV channel "Kazakhstan".
