In the Akmola region, livestock are dying en masse due to hunger, the national portal "Adyrna" reports with reference to the KTK TV channel.
As it is known, the shepherds cannot drive their cattle home due to heavy snowfall. And the animals are starving because of the heavy snow.
The remote location of pastures from villages made the situation difficult. The shepherds could not bring the hungry cattle back to their homes because the horses were not strong enough to walk.
Local residents are asking for help in this situation. According to them, special equipment can clear the road, quickly deliver hay, and save the remaining livestock.
"Horses are dying. The situation is very difficult. There is no help. This situation is the suffering of all horsemen. We ask for help," said Temirbek Galymov, a local herdsman.
