The Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Nurzhan Nurzhigitov told about the problem of solving the water shortage, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
"Today we use 25 cubic kilometers of water. 65 percent of it is used for agriculture, 25 percent for industrial enterprises, and more than 5 percent for household needs. Currently, types of water-saving technologies are being considered in agriculture. This will allow us to accumulate and save up to 10,000 cubic kilometers of water by 2030," said the minister.
