Data on the export of Russian wheat products as Kazakhstani products have been revealed. The Financial Monitoring Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Pavlodar Oblast Department identified the parties who prepared a fake contract and violated the law in order to trade Russian products, reports the national portal "Adyrna".
The "merchant" identified during monitoring sold 26,000 tons of Russian wheat to Central Asian countries (Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan) in the period of 2021-2022 under false invoices written as Kazakhstani products. More specifically, he exported Russian wheat products worth more than 1 billion tenge. In this way, they evaded payment of transportation fees according to the international transit tariff amounting to 460 million tenge, and "went on a double dance".
Currently, the pre-trial investigation is over.
