"Hokims of Nauai and Yangiyul cities, hokims of Amu Darya, Korgantepe, Bukhara, Mirishkor, Shirakshi, Khatyrshi, Payaryk, Akaltyn, Gulistan and Akkorgan districts have resigned. The Prosecutor General's Office and the Accounts Chamber were instructed to investigate the activities of these governors and ensure the rule of law," he said.
The reason for this decision was the inability of officials to properly attract foreign investment.
