Deputies of the Senate yesterday sent a question regarding the social status, salary and retirement age of lifeguards. Officially responding to the question, the head of the government Alikhan Smayilov announced that the retirement age of rescuers will be reduced, the national portal "Adyrna" reports with reference to KazInformation.
In his official statement, the Prime Minister said that the issue of raising the social status of rescuers is being worked out:
"Regarding the retirement age of rescuers, currently the Ministry of Emergency Situations is working out the issue of transferring rescuers from the category of civil servants to the category of civil defense together with the relevant state bodies," the answer says.
According to him, with these steps, there is a reason to advance the retirement age of lifeguards and lower the age limit.
