Today, at the meeting of the National Commission for Women's Affairs and Family-Demographic Policy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the issues of prevention of homelessness and neglect of children were discussed.
A group of experts of the National Commission visited the regions and studied the situation of this issue in detail.
Representatives of the expert and scientific community, heads of authorized bodies, deputy governors of regions and representatives of children's rights, representatives of central state bodies took part in the work of the meeting.
Chairman of the National Commission, Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aida Balayeva noted that creating favorable conditions for children, preventing the negative impact of factors that put them at risk of homelessness and despair is an important direction of the social policy of our state. For this purpose, a set of social and preventive measures is being implemented.
