Kazakh boxer Elina Bazarova won a gold medal at the World Youth Boxing Championship. This was reported by baq.kz, the national portal "Adyrna" wrote.
For "Altyn" the Kazakh boxer had to fight against the German representative Kutsokhrist Chrysovalant. As a result, the judges unanimously awarded victory to Elina Bazarova - 5:0 (30-26, 30-26, 30-27, 29-27, 29-27).
"I am very happy. I never thought that I would become a world champion. My dream has come true. I dedicate my gold medal to Kazakhstan, to my people! Thank you very much," said Bazarova.
The Kazakh boxer knocked down her opponent twice in the first round.
