A high-rise building in Fikirtepe district of Istanbul caught fire, reports the reporter of "Adyrna" referring to the Turkish edition of Oda TV.
The cause of the fire in the 24-story building is still unknown. The fire that broke out in the lower floors of the skyscraper quickly reached the upper floor through the cladding.
After a while, firefighters put out the flames. According to the publication, the building is under control, internal and external cooling is underway.
"The fire that broke out in an apartment building in the Fikirtepe area was controlled by our emergency personnel. No one was killed during the evacuation. The cause of the fire will be known after the investigation," the report said.
