The Border Service of the NSC spoke about the situation on the Kazakhstan-Russia border, the correspondent of "Adyrna" reported.
"Today, the number of foreign citizens entering the Republic of Kazakhstan at the Kazakhstan-Russia border has increased.
30 automobile checkpoints have been established and are working on a full-time basis. Due to the increase in the flow of people and vehicles, congestion is observed in four of them. The situation is under special control.
The border service, together with competent state bodies, ensures safety and legal order at border crossing points.
A joint action was organized with the border department of Russia.
In its activities, the Border Service of the National Security Service is guided by international agreements and norms of the domestic legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan," the report informs.
