"We do not accept and strongly condemn the killing of seven Palestinian civilians, including a child, by Israeli security forces in several Palestinian cities, including Jenin, and the wounding of Muslims at the Al-Aqsa Mosque during a rally this morning. We are deeply concerned about the recent escalation of tensions in the region. We would like to reiterate the importance of preventing provocations and threats to the status and spirit of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, especially in these difficult times.
We wish God's mercy to the Palestinian civilians killed in the incidents and a speedy recovery to the wounded. "
