Lawyers of entrepreneur Saule Kobzhanova, Natalia Gutorova, Ainur Akimbetova and the defendant's wife Olga Abdygapparova filed a lawsuit to remove the receipt from the investigation documents. The case concerns the fact that the pre-trial proceedings against the entrepreneur on the construction of an elite residential complex "Esentai City" began with the same receipt. According to the details of the criminal case, the director of AV Construction LLP Rauan Babayev, as well as Abdygapparov's nephew gave the businessman a receipt for real estate. Abdygapparov received 840 million tenge from a client Valeria Rakhmetzhanova, but only half of the transferred funds went to the company's coffers.
Abdygapparov's lawyer sues Kundyz Nazarbayeva, the daughter of Bolat Nazarbayev, who attended the Esentai City LCD project's founding meeting, and her son. According to the lawyer, Kundyz Nazarbayeva abandoned the project and bought 11 villas ($ 3 million each), dozens of apartments and parking lots with a total area of 2,700 square meters, and Abdygapparov's share was $ 3.5 million. The lawyers asked to send the case for pre-trial investigation and release Abdygapparov on bail to eliminate the violations.
