Pakistan's Information and Broadcasting Minister Farrukh Habib said on his Twitter account that the government had been disbanded and that Prime Minister Imran Khan would continue in office, Adyrna reported.
"The Prime Minister will continue to perform his duties in accordance with Article 224 of the Constitution, the Cabinet of Ministers has been dissolved," the Minister wrote.
Earlier, Pakistan's parliament rejected a vote of no confidence in Prime Minister Imran Khan.
