Vladimir Putin has ordered the transfer of the Russian Armed Forces to a special regime of service in the war with Ukraine, as representatives of NATO countries are "making aggressive statements against our country," said the Russian president. This was reported by the national portal "Adyrna".
Putin made this statement at a meeting with Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and Chief of General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov in the Kremlin.
"You see, not only are Western countries doing bad things to our country in the economic sphere - I'm talking about illegal sanctions, everyone knows that, but high-ranking officials from leading NATO countries are also making aggressive statements against our country.
Therefore, I instruct the Minister of Defense and the Chief of General Staff to transfer the restraining forces of the Russian army to a special regime of combat duty, "said the Russian President.
