The number of injuered citizens of the earthquake in Almaty has increased, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
As of 17:00, the city health service reported that 67 people sought medical help in Almaty hospitals. 55 of them are adults, 12 are children.
"Eight people were hospitalized (three adults and 5 children), the remaining patients were sent to outpatient treatment after all the necessary examinations. Three adult patients are in the emergency hospital. One patient is in the intensive care unit after surgery. The condition is assessed as serious, and two patients are in the department of traumatology and orthopedics. is lying down, his condition is moderately serious," informed the city health department.
Four children aged six, seven months and 7 and 16 years old are also being treated at the Pediatric Emergency Center.
"They got all the injuries they got when they fell at home. As for the babies, one baby fell from the mother's arms and the other from the crib. The condition of all children is assessed as moderate and stable, and they are receiving treatment in the department. Neurosurgery and traumatology surgery was not performed, the treatment was conservative," the report said.
It should be noted that today at 15:07 another earthquake of magnitude 2 was registered in Almaty.
