From January 1, 2022, the retirement age for women in Kazakhstan has been raised to 60.5 years. Last year, Kazakhstani women retired at the age of 60. Every year for half a year, in 2027, women will retire at the age of 63. In 2027, the retirement age for men and women will be equal.
Gradually, the retirement age will be as follows:
From January 1, 2022 - 60.5 years;
From January 1, 2023 - 61 years;
From January 1, 2024 - 61.5 years;
From January 1, 2025 - 62 years;
From January 1, 2026 - 62.5 years;
From January 1, 2027 - 63 years.
In 2022, the pensions of Kazakhstanis will also increase. The minimum basic state pension will increase to 19,450 tenge. In 2021, it was equal to 18,524 tenge. The minimum pension is 46,302 tenge, compared to 43,272 tenge last year.
