Elections in Uzbekistan: Mirziyoyev won with 80.1% of the vote


CEC Chairman Zayniddin Nizamkhodjaev said that the incumbent President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev won the election with 80.1%, according to the national portal Adyrna.

- The candidate of the Liberal Democratic Party Shavkat Mirziyoyev received 80.1% of the total number of voters, - Nizamkhodjaev said at a press conference on Monday.

Maksuda Varisova, the deputy chairman of the People's Democratic Party, came in second with 6.6 percent, followed by Alisher Kadyrov, chairman of the National Revival National Democratic Party, with 5.5 percent. Narzullo Oblomurodov, the leader of the Ecological Party, and Bahrom Abdukhalimov, the chairman of the Social Democratic Party "Adolat" (Justice), came in fourth with 4.4 percent.
