Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated President Xi Jinping of the People Republic of China and the Chinese people on the Chunjie festival, according to the national portal Adyrna.
In the telegram, Tokayev emphasized that the New Year celebration according to the Eastern lunar calendar calls for renewal, harmony, kindness, and creativity. He also wished success to Xi Jinping strategic initiatives and noble plans.
I am pleased to note with great gratitude that the eternal and comprehensive strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and China continues to thrive, becoming a model of unwavering friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation, Tokayev telegram stated.
Tokayev expressed appreciation for the Chinese leader contribution to this noble cause and showed his interest in further strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
Additionally, Tokayev congratulated the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, To Lam, on the Eastern New Year Tet festival.
The President stated that Kazakhstan views Vietnam as an important partner in the Southeast Asia region and expressed the intention to elevate the cooperation between the two countries to a new level. Tokayev also sent his best wishes for success and prosperity to Lam and the people of Vietnam.
